The short version: we see your kid's grades, an AI reads them, nobody else does, and you can delete everything whenever you want.
A copy of the same Canvas notification emails you already get — grades, assignments, scores, due dates, teacher messages. We also ask you for your child's first name, grade, pronouns, and interests so we can theme the practice problems. That's it.
We don't collect anything from your child. No account, no login, no form.
An AI called Claude, made by Anthropic, reads your child's grades and schoolwork so it can write the brief. It sees names, courses, teachers, assignments, and scores. Google handles the email. Airtable stores routing information — which family gets which notification — but never sees grades or scores.
That's the full list. Nobody else.
We don't share your data with schools, other parents, or advertisers. We don't sell it. We don't use it to train AI models. We don't access Canvas directly — everything comes from emails the school already sent you.
With Google and Anthropic, both US-based, and on systems we operate directly. Airtable holds the routing data. Everything stays within those services.
Tell us and we delete it — briefs, logs, and your records in our systems. The Canvas emails in your own inbox are yours and stay untouched. Email privacy@goodmark.ai or reply to any brief.
